Repair of warp and weft on loom

1. When the water jet loom is stopped

·When the weft error occurs due to the loose warp, the occurrence of hairiness and the bad opening, the weft detector can detect and stop the loom.

·When the yarn of the edge yarn and the yarn end processing is bad, it is detected by their sensors and the loom stops.

·When the stop of the station is at the same time, the method of repairing the stop is more beneficial to the improvement of the rate.

·It should be handled according to the reason of stopping the station.

Red light on, orange light shining yarn end treatment yarn break, slack

1) When the warp is broken and loose

(1) Cut off the bad part of warp yarn and connect the yarn with the broken weft.

(2) Cut the knot head and make the length of the knot at about 3mm.

(3) The connected yarn is passed through the warp stop, the heald frame and reed in a sequence.

(4) Connect the connected yarn with the warp next to the fabric at the opening.

Note) if this operation is not done, it will cause entanglement with weft yarn at the beginning of operation and cause the loom to stop.

(5) Press the forward button. That is, the operation can be restarted.

(6) Cut off the end of the connecting yarn on the cloth surface.

2) When the end of the yarn (planetary gear flanging device) is broken

(1) Thread the cut-off yarn into the specified reed.

(2) Tie together with several warp yarns at the fabric mouth.

(3) Pull the front end of the cut-off yarn by hand and hang it on the side support.

(4) Press the forward button. That is, the operation can be restarted.

3) When the yarn (planetary gear flanging device) is loose

(1) Turn the bobbin by hand to tighten the yarn.

(2) Press the forward button. That is, the operation can be restarted.

4) When the end treatment yarn is broken

(1) Thread the yarn end treatment yarn with broken ends into the specified reed.

(2) Make it be tied to other yarn end treatment yarn.

(3) Press the forward button. That is, the operation can be restarted.

5) When the yarn end treatment yarn is loose

(1) The slack end treatment yarn is tightened to the front of the loom.

(2) Press the forward button. That is, the operation can be restarted.

2. When the station is stopped due to weft (FDP specification)

·When the weft error occurs, it will be detected by the weft detector and the loom will stop running.

·The red light of the tower bar indicator light is on, and the blue light is in the state of light or flashing.

·According to the position of the error in weft insertion, the corresponding treatment is carried out.

1) When weft breaks in the fabric width

(1) Press the reverse button continuously until the reed stops in the backward position and then release.

(2) The wrong weft is drawn from the fabric mouth.

Note) when the leakage of weft detector stops (blue light flashes), the yarn wrapped on the weft detector shall be completely removed.

(3) Press the reverse button continuously until the reed stops in the backward position before releasing.

(4) Press the pump pedal several times. Water will be ejected from the nozzle.

(5) Press the prepare button.

(6) Press the forward button. That is, the operation can be restarted.

2) When weft break occurs between FDP and nozzle

Main parts of water jet loom

(1) Carry out (1) to (3) operation of 1.

(2) Press the pre winding · release button of FDP operating panel. That is, the yarn winding on FDP drum 1 can be started to release.

(3) Remove the yarn wound on FDP drum 1.

(4) Thread the front end of the yarn into the wire guide plate 2, the wire guide 3 and the nozzle 4 in a sequence, and hold it with your right hand.

(5) Press the ready winding and release button of FDP operating panel with your left hand.

Yarn rewind will be made on FDP drum 1.

(6) Clip the weft that is exposed from the nozzle on the side brace.

(7) Press the pump pedal several times. Water will be ejected from the nozzle.

(8) Press the forward button. That is, the operation can be restarted.

3) When weft break occurs between the feed body and FDP

(1) Thread the front end of the yarn into tension device 5.

(2) The front end of the yarn is passed through the rotating guide 8 by the blowing mouth bracket 7 of the yarn feeder motor 6 by means of a silk hook.

(3) Carry out the operation of (1) to (8).

3 when the station is stopped due to weft (RDP specification)

Weft introduction of water jet loom

·When the weft error occurs, it will be detected by the weft detector and the loom will stop running.

·The red light of the tower bar indicator light, blue light or flashing.

·According to the position of the error in weft insertion, the corresponding treatment is carried out.

1) When weft breaks in the fabric width

(1) Raise lift lever 1.

(2) Pull the yarn wound on RDP drum 2 by holding the weft exposed from nozzle 3 with your right hand.

(3) Press the reverse button continuously until the reed stops in the backward position before releasing.

(4) The yarn which has been misweft is pulled out of the fabric mouth.

Note) when leakage stop of weft detector (blue light flashes), yarn wrapped on weft detector shall be completely removed.

(5) Press the reverse button continuously until the reed stops in the backward position before releasing.

(6) Lower the lift lever 1 and clip the weft from the nozzle 3 onto the side brace.

(7) Press the pump pedal several times. Water will then be ejected from the nozzle.

(8) Press the prepare button.

(9) Press the forward button. The operation can be restarted.

2) When weft break occurs between RDP and nozzle

(1) Lift lift arm 1 up.

(2) Remove the yarn wrapped on RDP drum 2.

(3) The front end of the yarn is successively entered into and out of the guide bracket 4 and nozzle 3, and the yarn is pinched with the right hand.

(4) Carry out the operation of (3) to (9).

3) When weft break occurs between the feed body and FDP

(1) Carry out (1) to (2) operation of 2.

(2) Thread the front end of the yarn into the tension device 5 and the wire guide

(3) Carry out the operation of (3) to (4).

4. When the station is stopped due to weft (in case of SDP)

Weft insertion mechanism of water jet loom

·When the weft error occurs, it will be detected by the weft detector and the loom will stop running.

·The red light of the tower bar indicator will be on, and the blue light will be on or on.

·According to the position of the error in weft insertion, the corresponding treatment is carried out.

1) When weft breaks in the fabric width

(1) Lift lift lever 1 up.

(2) Pull the yarn wrapped on SDP drum 2 and pull the weft from nozzle 3 with your right hand.

(3) Press the reverse button continuously until the reed stops in the backward position before releasing.

(4) The yarn which has been misweft is pulled out of the fabric mouth.

Note) when leakage stop of weft detector (blue light flashes), yarn wrapped on weft detector shall be completely removed.

(5) Press the reverse button continuously until the reed stops in the backward position before releasing.

(6) Adjust the loom at the angle of operation start by inching operation. ( 220º±20 )

Note) it will be the reason for tight weft of fabric.

(7) Lower the lifter 1 and clip the weft from nozzle 3 to the side brace.

(8) Press the pump pedal several times. Water will then be ejected from the nozzle.

(9) Press the prepare button.

(10) Press the forward button. The operation can be restarted.

2) When weft break occurs between SDP and nozzle

(1) Lift lift lever 1 up.

(2) Remove the yarn wound on RDP drum 2.

(3) The front end of the yarn is inserted into the guide bracket 4 and nozzle 3 in a sequence, and the yarn is kneaded with the right hand.

(4) Carry out the operation of (3) to (10).

3) When weft break occurs between the feed body and SDP

(1) Carry out (1) to (2) operation of 2.

(2) Thread the front end of the yarn into the tension device 5 and the wire guide 6 in a sequence.

(3) Insert the weft into the guide 7 with a special yarn wearer and continue to run into guide 8.

(4) Carry out the operation of (3) to (4).
